Developed and designed with 20 years of experience, the FLIES’ INN – HG Fly Trap was introduced to the sector in 2020. Among known fly traps, it stands out in terms of ease of installation and use, and fly catching capacity. It can be emptied and reused repeatedly. With regular use, you can conduct natural, environmentally friendly fly control for years without the need for adult fly spraying or insecticide use. It works with all kinds of natural food substances that flies like. You can achieve the most effective results by using SINTUT Fly Attractant Bait.
This fly catcher is designed for use in all open areas where fly control is needed and fly problems exist. SINTUT FLY ATTRACTANT BAIT, sufficient for the first month, is provided with your trap. It attracts flies with non-toxic natural attractants and collects them in its large chamber. The flies in this chamber, which contains no water or food, dry out and become ineffective. Because the flies die by drying out, the intense odor discomfort that can occur with bag and bucket traps is not experienced with FLIES’ INN – HG traps. Fly traps can be emptied and reused. With a FLIES’ INN – HG fly trap, you can catch millions of flies and enjoy peace of mind throughout the seasons. Designed by our company, FLIES’ INN Fly Traps are 100% domestically produced and exported by our company.
INSTALLATION AND USE
The box contains your ready-to-use trap along with 2 x 25 gm packages of SINTUT Fly Attractant Bait. Prepare your trap according to the following steps:
Empty 25 grams (1 package) of bait into the black attractant bait container.
Add about half a liter of lukewarm drinking water and stir until the attractant powder ration is completely dissolved. Alternatively, you can prepare it in a bottle and pour it into the attractant bait container.
Place the round lid of the attractant bait container into its slot to prevent spills.
Hang your trap 1.5 – 2 meters above the ground under a tree or porch. You can also hang it on garden fences to prevent it from swaying. We recommend securing the attachment point with a rope to prevent it from being knocked over or falling in windy weather. Be careful to hang it out of reach of children and pets. It should be hung in a sunny spot in spring and in a less sunny, shaded spot in hot summer months.
Ensure the inner funnel is properly positioned with the opening open.
Place the prepared attractant bait plate on the legs at the bottom of the trap. After placing one leg in position, gently flex the legs and simultaneously place the other two legs in position.
Slide the attractant bait plate upwards on the legs and place it on the pre-prepared claws near the entrance. Your trap will start catching flies shortly after the attractant bait is activated. In cold weather, this may take 1-2 days.
In hot weather, the water in the attractant bait plate will evaporate and decrease. Check the water level every 5-6 days. Replenish the water only with drinking water. In spring and autumn, this period extends to 10-15 days. You do not need to remove and reattach the plate to add water. You can easily add water to the attractant bait tray using a plastic bottle with a straw attached to the cap. The attractant bait tray dries out, and the traps will stop attracting flies.
Cleaning the attractant bait tray at the end of the second week and preparing it again as you did the first time will help you get more effective results. When your attractant bait runs out, you can get more from your vendor.
MAINTENANCE OF FULL TRAPS
Depending on the fly density in the area where it is installed, your traps will fill up after a while. You can continue using your trap by emptying the flies that have dried up and become ineffective inside.
Use hygienic gloves when emptying the trap. Keep a garbage bag in a bucket ready to empty the trap.
To empty your trap, remove the attractant bait tray and gently pull the inner funnel down from the top end and invert it. You can empty the trap and funnel by gently shaking them. Live flies will not escape and will continue to fly inside the trap.
Close the bag full of flies tightly and dispose of it in the trash.
After emptying the trap, return the funnel to its original position and, if necessary, reassemble the attractive bait plate. Your trap will then continue to catch flies. Dirty traps can be washed without disassembling them. You can wash them by spraying water with a garden hose. After washing, ensure the funnel is upright with the mouth open.
During winter months when you are not using your trap, store it washed and clean.
