HAUPTNER Estrus Detector - Veterinary Diagnostic Device
Product Features
Model Name: HAUPTNER Estrus Detector (Estrus Detection Device) Function: Scientifically determines the period when the animal is at its most estrusful (heated) Display: Analog/Digital Scale (30-40 is the most estrus period) Technology: Measures the electrical resistance (impedance) of vaginal mucus Maintenance Requirement: Charge before use, clean the probe after use
Product Description
The HAUPTNER Estrus Detector is a highly sensitive veterinary tool that detects the estrus cycle in cattle and other animals by measuring the electrical resistance (impedance) of vaginal mucus. Changes in hormone levels during the estrus period alter the electrical conductivity of the mucus. This device aims to maximize the success rate of artificial insemination by determining the exact insemination time (optimal fertilization period).
Heat Detection and Scale Reading:
The values between 30-40 on the striped section of the product's display indicate the animal's estrus cycle and the most suitable (most estrus-prone) time for insemination. Values below this indicate the animal is not yet in estrus; values after indicate the end of the estrus period and that insemination is too late.
Instructions for Use and Maintenance:
Charging: For accurate measurement, the device must be charged for at least one day before use. Charge Check: To check the charge level, press the Test On button simultaneously. If the display scale reaches the end, the battery is fully charged. Hygiene: To maintain the device's sensitivity and ensure hygiene, the metal probe at the tip of the device must be cleaned and dried after each use.
This detector provides fast, reliable, and objective estrus detection in both field and barn environments, significantly contributing to the economics of animal husbandry.
Applications
Accurately Determining the Estrus Period in Cattle; Identifying Optimal Timing Before Artificial Insemination; Increasing Reproductive Efficiency and Conception Rate; Detecting Animals Showing No Signs of Estrus (Hidden Estrus).
