Product Description
The Leather Martingale is a professional equestrian accessory designed to control the horse's head position and provide the rider with an extra layer of safety. It functions as an auxiliary mechanism for bit and rein commands. Its primary function is to physically prevent the horse from raising its head so high that the rider cannot hear commands or loses control.
Working Mechanism and Control: The Martingale stabilizes the rein line thanks to the rings through which the reins pass. When the horse raises its head too high, beyond the correct working angle, the Martingale rings apply a slight downward pressure to the horse's mouth (bite) via the reins. This pressure acts as a stimulus to bring the horse's head back to the ideal level. When the horse lowers its head to a normal level, the pressure is released, allowing the horse to learn to maintain the correct position.
Technical Advantages and Profitability
Extra Control: Helps the rider maintain control, especially with excited or head-shaking horses.
Rein Stabilization: Prevents unnecessary head fluttering, ensuring smoother and more consistent contact with the horse's mouth.
Safe Restraint: Prevents the horse from suddenly raising its head and hitting the rider's face or disabling the control mechanism.
High-Quality Leatherwork: The leather parts that come into contact with the horse's chest and neck are softened and their durability is increased to prevent irritation.
Easy Adjustability: Thanks to the buckles on the neck strap and chest attachment, it fits perfectly on horses of different sizes.
